BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT AT SANTA ANITA RACE TRACK HOSTED BY FOOTHILL UNITY CENTER
This year's Back to School Event on August 8th at Santa Anita Racetrack in Arcadia, California hosted by Foothill Unity Center was a success. I`m so happy and proud to have been a part of this. To see the smiles on the parents and kids faces, was an awesome experience. We had the opportunity to assist by cooking hotdogs for everyone. Which came up to about a thousand people. Thank you to all the volunteers from Azusa Pacific University, who took time out of their busy schedules to help out. Along with everyone who help supply backpacks, filled with school supplies, shoe vouchers by Big 5 Sporting Goods, Raising Cane`s for the free lemonade vouchers, and free haircuts by Simply Divine and Azusa Pacific University. Also, the countless other organizations who participated and donated food, supplies, and more importantly their time.
